Hedge Fund Team
Jerry del Missier is the Founding Partner and Chief Investment Officer of Copper Street Capital, established in July 2015. Jerry oversees all investment activities across the firm’s liquid hedge fund strategy.
He brings over three decades of deep experience in banks, with a career spanning senior leadership roles in capital markets, treasury, and bank management. His rise through Barclays, from senior trading roles to Co-Chief Executive Officer of Barclays Corporate & Investment Bank, and ultimately Chief Operating Officer of Barclays Bank Plc, afforded him unparalleled insight into the inner workings of a global bank, including its balance sheet, risk architecture, and regulatory interface.
During his tenure at Barclays (1997–2012), Jerry played a pivotal role in the acquisition and integration of Lehman Brothers, and led key initiatives in the post-crisis restructuring, recapitalisation, and refinancing of the bank. His leadership extended across operational reengineering and the navigation of evolving financial regulations. This experience has shaped Copper Street’s investment approach in taking advantage of recapitalizations and identifying mispricing’s/discrepancies across the entire capital structure of European banks.
Prior to Barclays, Jerry was a Senior Managing Director of Derivative Products at Bankers Trust (1988–1997) and began his career at Scotiabank in Toronto (1987–1988). He holds an MBA and a BSc in Chemical Engineering from Queen’s University.
Cameron Geering joined Copper Street Capital in October 2024. Cameron is a Senior Analyst responsible for leading detailed credit research, developing investment ideas and working closely with the CIO to manage the liquid portfolio.
Prior to joining Copper Street, Cameron held an Analyst position at Premier Miton Investors covering bank credit and real estate across the capital structure. He started his career as an Analyst at Barnett Waddingham.
Cameron holds a BSc Mathematics and Actuarial Science from the University of Leicester (2018) and an MSc in Finance from ESADE Business School, Ramon Llull University in Barcelona(2019). Cameron is a CFA Chartholder.
Toby Williams joined Copper Street in October 2025 as an Analyst. Prior to joining Copper Street, Toby held an analyst position at Premier Miton Investors, covering global banks with a particular focus on European investment grade financials and AT1’s. He previously held analyst positions at Albermarle Street Partners and Coremont.
Toby holds a MSc Investment Management from Henley Business School (2022) and a BA Politics and International Relations from the University of Kent (2021).
Business Management Team
Sharon is a Partner at Copper Street Capital, serving as Chief Administrative and Chief Compliance Officer. Since the firm’s inception, her role has grown to encompass full responsibility for all non-investment functions across the business, including operations, compliance, finance, HR, and senior management support. Sharon manages the business on a day-to-day basis and is a steady presence at the centre of the firm, supporting the entire team.
Prior to joining Copper Street, Sharon spent 18 years at Barclays Bank, where she was Head of HR for the Corporate and Investment Banking (Europe) division. She held multiple leadership roles within the bank’s HR function and brings extensive experience in supporting dynamic, evolving businesses.
Sharon holds a Postgraduate Diploma in HR Management from Thames Valley University and a BA (Hons) in Hospitality Management from Nottingham Trent University.
Kevin McCormack joined Copper Street Capital in October 2016 as Head of Operations and was promoted to Chief Operating Officer in February 2024. As COO, Kevin is responsible for the daily middle/back office operations of the Fund and Managed Accounts . He brings an extensive amount of operational experience in trade booking, settlements, reconciliations, confirmations, and implementation of portfolio management systems.
Prior to Copper Street, Kevin was Head of Operations at Altima Partners (2012-2016). Previously, he held various consulting roles to different hedge funds including ARC Asset Management, Troy Asset Management and GLG Group (2003-2012).
Kevin holds a BSc in Business Studies with Sport Sciences from Brunel University (2003).
Glaiza Roberts joined Copper Street Capital in November 2018 as the firm’s Financial Controller. Glaiza is responsible for all aspects of business finance, investment/regulatory reporting and financial control across the LLP.
Glaiza is a qualified accountant with extensive audit experience having joined Ernst & Young in 2006. She worked various geographies whilst at EY specialising in wealth and asset management and has worked on IFRS, UK GAAP and US GAAP entities across hedge funds and private equity.
Glaiza is a Certified Public Accountant, holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Accountancy in the Philippines and is a member of the Philippine Institute of Certified Public Accountants.
Mike joined Copper Street Capital in April 2021 and leads all marketing-related activity across the firm, while also managing relationships with its investor base. He brings extensive experience across marketing, investor relations, fund allocation, and business development.
Prior to joining Copper Street, Mike was Co-Founder of Ex-Ante Partnership, an FCA-registered investment office and co-investment business. Earlier in his career, he held senior roles in Marketing, Sales, and Product Specialist functions at Fortress Investment Group. Mike began his career on the buy-side at Gottex Fund Management, a traditional fund of hedge funds, where he built a strong foundation in manager selection and portfolio construction.
Mike holds a BSc (Hons) in Geography from Loughborough University. He is also a holder of the Investment Management Certificate (IMC) and has completed the Oxford University Private Markets Investment Programme.
Private Equity Team
Elliot Tahmasebi joined Copper Street Capital in 2019 in the Private Equity team. Elliot has significant experience originating and leading private equity transactions, gained over 10+ years within the sector. He serves as the Investment Director on a number of our portfolio companies and is responsible for working closely with management to drive the value creation plan of our portfolio investments.
Prior to joining the firm, Elliot was a member of the Financial Institutions and Financial Technology Group at Credit Suisse in London where he advised on mergers & acquisitions and capital markets transactions.
Elliot holds a BSc in Chemistry from University College London.
Vladimir Youdine joined Copper Street Capital in January 2021 in the Private Equity team. Vladimir is responsible for evaluating potential transactions, deal execution and works closely with our portfolio companies to implement the value creation plan in support of our investment thesis.
Prior to joining Copper Street Capital, Vladimir worked in the Financial Institutions Group and the Financial Sponsors Group at Credit Suisse (2016 – 2020).
Vladimir holds a BSc in Management from the London School of Economics (2016).
