Jerry del Missier founded Copper Street Capital in July 2015. Mr. del Missier is responsible for overseeing all investment activities within the firm and setting the firm’s strategic direction. He has extensive experience in the financial services industry including business acquisition, growth, restructuring and reengineering. Prior to founding Copper Street, Mr. del Missier was Co-Chief Executive Officer of Barclays Corporate & Investment Bank and subsequently, Chief Operating Officer for Barclays Bank Plc (1997-2012). During his time at Barclays he held various executive leadership positions and he played a key leadership role in the acquisition and integration of Lehman Brothers and the post-crisis restructuring of the bank. Previously, Mr. del Missier was a Senior Managing Director of Derivative Products for Bankers Trust (1988-1997). Mr. del Missier started his career at Scotiabank (1987-1988) in Toronto. Mr. del Missier holds an MBA from Queens University (1987) and a BSc in Chemical Engineering from Queens University (1985).
Justin Bull joined Copper Street Capital as a Senior Advisor in 2015, and became Chief Operating Officer (“COO”) and a Partner in September 2016. As COO, Mr. Bull is responsible for managing Copper Street’s business functions and covering all non-investment activities within the firm. Prior to Copper Street, Mr. Bull was Chief Operating Officer and Chief of Staff for Barclays Corporate & Investment Bank (1997-2015). During his tenure at Barclays (1993-2015), Mr. Bull held a number of senior leadership positions across investment banking. He brings expertise in building robust infrastructure and governance frameworks. Prior to Barclays, Mr. Bull was Director of European Futures Sales at Morgan Stanley (1993-1997). Mr. Bull holds an MBA from London Guildhall University (1993) and a BSc in Biology and Psychology from St. Mary’s College (1985).
Bruno Duarte joined Copper Street Capital in May 2016 as a Portfolio Manager. Prior to Copper Street, Mr. Duarte was a Managing Director and Senior European Financials Analyst at Claren Road Asset Management (2012-2016). Previously, Mr. Duarte was a Director covering European Credit (Financials) at Barclays Capital (2006-2012). Prior to Barclays, he worked at Foxx-Pitt Kelton, an equity boutique broker, in the European Banks Equity Research Division (2004-2006). Mr. Duarte started his career as a European Banks Equity Research Analyst at Schroders Salomon Smith Barney (1998-2004). Mr. Duarte holds a MSc in International Securities and Investment Banking from the University of Reading (1998), and a BA (Hons) in Economics and Business Studies from the University of Stirling (1997). Mr. Duarte is a Chartered Financial Analyst.
Edouard Quilliou joined Copper Street Capital in March 2016 as an Analyst. Mr. Quilliou started his career as a Credit Research Analyst covering European Banks at Morgan Stanley (2014-2015). Mr. Quilliou holds a MSc in Finance (2013) and a BSc in Economics from the Universite Paris 2 Pantheon-Assas. Mr. Quilliou has passed the three levels of the Chartered Financial Analyst program (CFA).
Pierre Bruyant joined Copper Street Capital in March 2018. Prior to Copper Street, Mr. Bruyant was a Senior Risk Consultant at various financial institutions (2016-2018). Previously, he was a Partner in a Family Office start-up in Luxembourg (2013-2015). Mr. Bruyant was Chief Risk Officer for Duet Asset Management, covering Hedge Funds, Fund of Funds and Long-Only Funds (2009-20013). Prior to Duet, he was the Risk Manager for Caxton Asset Management’s London Office (2005-2009). He held various risk roles for Deutsche Bank, Societe Generale and BNP-Paribas in London, New-York, and Paris respectively (2000-2005). Mr. Bruyant holds a Msc in General Engineering from Ecole Centrale de Lyon (2000).

Massimo Araldi joined Copper Street Capital in October 2016 as a Senior Investment Professional. Mr. Araldi is responsible for sourcing, executing and managing strategic investment opportunities. Since joining the company, Mr. Araldi and the team completed the acquisition of a debt purchase/collection business, MMF/Lantern. Prior to joining Copper Street Capital, Mr. Araldi was a Managing Director at StormHarbour Securities (2013-2016) where he was responsible for bank’s deleveraging and non-core assets disposals across Europe. Before StormHarbour, Mr. Araldi held a senior role in the Financial Institutions Group at Deutsche Bank in London for ten years where he advised many European financial institutions on M&A, cross-border transactions and capital raisings. Mr. Araldi started his career in the Financial Institutions Group at Schroders Salomon Smith Barney in London (1998-2002). Mr. Araldi holds an M.B.A. from CASS Business School in London and a BSc in Economics from the University of Bologna.
Rudi Facchini joined Copper Street Capital in November 2016 as an Associate. Prior to joining Copper Street Capital, Mr. Facchini worked in the EMEA Financial Institutions Group of Deutsche Bank (2014 – 2016). Mr. Facchini holds a MSc in Finance from Stockholm School of Economics (2013), a CEMS MSc in International Management from Stockholm School of Economics and University of St. Gallen (2013) and a trilingual BSc in Economics and Management from Free University of Bozen-Bolzano (2010).
Business Management Team
Sharon Whitehouse-Faux joined Copper Street Capital at inception as Chief of Staff. Prior to Copper Street, Mrs. Whitehouse-Faux was Head of HR for the Corporate and Investment Banking (Europe) division of Barclays Bank (1998-2014). She held a number of leadership positions in human resources within Barclays and has extensive experience of supporting business build-outs, restructures and mergers. Mrs. Whitehouse-Faux holds a Post Graduate Diploma in HR Management from Thames Valley University (1997), and a BA (Hons) in Hospitality Management from Nottingham Trent University (1994).
Kevin McCormack joined Copper Street Capital in October 2016. Mr. McCormack is responsible for the daily operations of the Fund. He brings an extensive amount of operational experience in trade booking, settlements, reconciliations, confirmations, and implementation of portfolio management systems. Prior to Copper Street, Mr. McCormack was Head of Operations at Altima Partners (2012-2016). Previously, he held various consulting roles to different hedge funds including ARC Asset Management, Troy Asset Management and GLG Group (2003-2012). Mr. McCormack holds a BSc in Business Studies with Sport Sciences from Brunel University (2003).
Glaiza Marquez joined Copper Street Capital in November 2018 as the firm’s Financial Controller. She is a qualified accountant with extensive audit experience having joined Ernst & Young in 2006. Ms. Marquez was at E&Y in various geographies specialising in wealth and asset management and has worked on IFRS, UK GAAP and US GAAP entities across hedge funds and private equity. Ms .Marquez is a Certified Public Accountant, holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Accountancy in the Philippines and is a member of the Philippine Institute of Certified Public Accountants.

Beatriz Carrillo joined Copper Street Capital in September 2016. Prior to Copper Street, Ms. Carrillo was Director of Investor Relations at COMAC Capital (2009-2015) where she was responsible for managing the investor relations team and the marketing activities of the firm. Prior to COMAC, Ms. Carrillo was a member of the Sales and Marketing team at Elgin Capital (2007-2008). She started her career at UBS as an Analyst in the Wealth Management division (2005-2007). Ms. Carrillo holds a BSc in Finance with a minor in International Business from Pennsylvania State University (2005).
Jolie von Arnim joined Copper Street Capital in September 2018. Prior to Copper Street, Mrs. von Arnim was a founding member and Head of Investor Partners of Strategic Industrial Capital Partners (SICP) from 2013-2015, an energy specialist private equity firm. Prior to SICP, she was the Head of Marketing and Investor Relations at Audley Capital Advisors LLP (2005-2013), an award winning activist investment firm. Mrs. von Arnim started her career in finance in Equity Research at Deutsche Bank (2002-2005) covering the Leisure Sector. She holds a BA (Hons) from Princeton University (1995) and MBA from Columbia Business School (2002).
